'' I help my client or patient to stay young in mind and body ''

Seeing your client or patient change every day so that his brain becomes better, regardless of age, is possible. This requires minimizing the biological damage that it undergoes and maximizing its constant reconstruction. Several factors contribute to this balancing act. Among other things, metabolism effectiveness, hormonal balance, vascularization and immunity are just a few.

How to help your client or patient improve their health in what matters most for a healthy brain? How to minimize the damage it undergoes and its aging? What can one do concretely to accelerate one's recovery and develop one's abilities? How to use the tool "Healthy Brain" to track their progression?

As a professional, would you like to know what aspects of health have been shown to have major impacts on brain health? Would you like to know the links between specific biochemical and electrical changes behind health issues and how it correlates brain health and aging status and mood, cognition and resistance to stress? And to know which health habits can have the greatest positive impacts?

This module will give you a thorough understanding of what is happening in the body and brain of your client or patient, as well as a solid foundation in health neuroscience. You will be able to help your client to make sense of what he’s going through and to propose effective and supported actions.

Duration: 5 to 10 hours in total, including online modules (videos, readings and tests) and in person.

Dates: In-person training, in Montreal, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 13:00 to 15:00.
