The Anti-Depression Professional: Continuing Professional Education and Certification: MODULE 3: Brain-Healthy Nutrition
'' I help my clients or patients eat wisely to be mentally at their best ''
To function at full capacity, the brain has unique needs that are related to its characteristics and functions. For example, it must produce impressive amounts of energy to enable its electrical work, and some macronutrients optimize energy efficiency. To ensure its chemical communications, specific amino acids are required continuously. Many electrical and chemical reactions can not occur without essential nutrients.
According to research in neuroscience, what would be an optimal diet to maximize cognition, mood and maintenance of cerebral youth? What foods, on the other hand, are now associated with cognitive loss and depressive symptoms? How to use the "Healthy Brain" tool to visualize your progress in brain-healthy nutrition?
As a professional, would you like to know what nutritional approaches have been proven effective in mental and cognitive health in clinical studies? You would like to understand their mechanisms of action and know how to explain them simply? You would like to know exactly what parameters you need to respect for these interventions to be effective?
This module will help you feel competent in determining, on an individual basis, the best nutritional approaches for your clients or patients, and you will be able to explain how to respect specific success factors. You will know how to use the ‘’Healthy Brain’’ tool to monitor their compliance and condition.
