The Anti-Depression Professional: Continuing Professional Education and Certification: MODULE 4: Brain-Healthy Physical Training Module
'' I help my client or patient to train physically to overcome excessive stress or depression ''
Some forms of physical training radically alter the brain. They have powerful short-term and long-term effects on cognitive, emotional, and health states. They are essential for mass production of neurotransmitters and hormones that allow neuroplasticity. On the other hand, the effects of training depend, among other things, on the type of exercise, its intensity, duration, and its level of difficulty depending on the physical condition of the individual.
What are the neurophysiological repercussions of different types of training such as stretching, cardiovascular or bodybuilding? What significant changes are occurring in various types of neurotransmitters, brain growth factors, stress and sexual hormones ... depending on the type of exercise, its duration, intensity and frequency? How to choose the best type of training for your client or patient and to explain to him the benefits expected at the cerebral and mental levels? How to ensure safety in training and compliance? How to create a tailor-made workout to get the most brain benefits in the least amount of time? How can you use the ‘’Healthy Brain’’ tool to visualize progress?
