Workshop Action # 3: I Eat to Be Mentally at My Best
What should we eat to maximize the brain’s capabilities? For starters, some of it’s specific needs come from the high electric charge it needs to function. Its high fat composition necessitates specific types of fats. In order to communicate information, neurons use many types of neurotransmitters, most of them made from specific amino acids derived from proteins we eat.
What are the superfoods and supplements that have been proven in neuroscience to improve cognition, mood, and maintenance of cerebral youth? What foods, on the other hand, are now associated with cognitive loss and depressive symptoms? How to use the ''Healthy Brain'' tool to visualize your progress in your brain’s nutrition?
